The Galcom Stream Receiver — a compact metal box with balanced XLR outputs, USB ports, and an Ethernet jack

The Stream Receiver is a turnkey solution that allows broadcasters to receive a web radio stream and play it on a local sound system. All you provide is power and an internet connection.

It starts receiving immediately — Galcom programs the web radio URL for you, so there is no technical setup beyond connecting the audio output. If power or the internet is intermittent, the stream reconnects automatically, and the unit can be accessed remotely for updates and support.

Where it's used

Local diffusion of a web radio — in hospitals, community centres, and shops. Paired with a Galcom Streamer it forms a studio-transmitter link (STL), and it also lets a broadcaster monitor their own stream.
