Three months after repairs were completed, our Haiti partner station has sent its final project report — and it's better than we hoped. The rebuilt transmitter and antenna system aren't just matching the old coverage; listeners are writing in from communities the previous signal never reached.
The station manager credits the new antenna design and the surge protection now guarding the equipment: “We used to go silent with every storm season. This time we stayed on the air through two.”
To everyone who gave to Back On Air in Haiti: this report is yours. Thank you.
